PROCEDURE:

Nose tip surgery involves adjusting the position and size of alar cartilages and/or trimming of both the loose edge of the nasal septum and the anterior nasal spine.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Discomfort caused by the swelling.

POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS:

• Persistent nose tip swelling - several months.
• Dissatisfaction with one's appearance.

RECOVERY:

• Sticking plaster dressing on the nose: about 7-10 days.
• Return to work: about 2 weeks.
• Intensive activities, physical effort, bending: several weeks.
• Swelling: about a month.
• No exposure to direct sunlight: 8 weeks.

Permanent.
